Hardcastle Junior Trophy
Sunday 5th July
As with the ladies, juniors may enter all competitions at Castlefields, but they have also had their own competitions since about 1970. The 1977 Captain, Harry Woodward donated the first Junior Trophy in 1977, and this was replaced by Paul Hardcastle during his first stint as Captain in 1997.
A fine morning saw some good scores posted, but Liam Austwick had an excellent back nine to push Samuel Hardcastle into second place.
