The smallest field of the season brought the Medal / Stableford / Bogey season to a close with the Tiger turn-out particularly poor - although  it is understandable for a bogey. I hope the unfortunate victim of shirazitis is feeling much better.
In Division Two, a truly astonishing round from Peter Cartwright saw him finish on
-11! Having played with Peter, it has to be said that his putting was absolutely magnificent and he thoroughly deserved his victory.
In Division One, Simon Bottomley overcame his lack of practice - work committments meant he only managed to get down once in midweek. To just pip the Captain with -4. The full results were:-

EQUAL SCORES RESOLVED BY RULES OF COMPETITION

Twos Club

There were only five twos this weekend, (Peter Cartwright had two of those), so despite picking two of the easier holes, no-one managed a 2 at a counting hole - obviously we were all lagging our putts if we had two for a plus point. So I've decided to hand-over the £6.50 as a roll-over for the first competition next year.
