Walter Priestley Handicap Final
Sunday 9th October
Walter Priestley was Captain of Castlefields Golf Club in 1959 and Honorary Treasurer from 1962 to 1979 and this trophy is in honour of his memory. Since 1987 it has been an 18 hole strokeplay competition played in early autumn for those members who have managed to reduce their handicaps over the period covered by the club medals.
Congratulations to Alex Bottomley who blew the rest of the field out of the water with a stunning nett 43.
Darren Brown just pipped Richard Badrock to the runner-up spot and Nik Kelly had the best gross with 57.
