We are now running a limited programme of events for the rest of the season. We are not going to attempt to have any majors and all HHDUGC and HHDRGA events have been cancelled.
Please read the sections below on Entry Fees and Local Rules
Competition entry fees must be paid in cash, but in multiples of £10 in advance. We will put out small brown envelopes in the box with the cards and you can post them with your name on into the outside letterbox. A spreadsheet of everyones' credit will be kept and any excess will be returned at the end of the season. Anyone who paid the All-In-Fee and has not had it back yet can use that to enter all the competitions and receive the rest at the end of the season.
The hole cups have been inserted the right way round so the previous rules on flagsticks should be disregarded.
Preferred Lies in Bunkers
If the ball lands in a poor lie in a bunker it may be lifted and placed within 6 inches of its original position, but no nearer the hole and still within the bunker. You may not smooth the bunker before placing the ball.
We are allowed to choose to allow methods of scoring in stroke play that do not strictly comply with Rule 3.3b, or do not comply with the normal methods used under Rule 3.3b.
As a final reminder please fill in the following on the scorecard :-
Your gross scores in column A
Your marker's scores in the marker's score column
Book your tee slot using the same online booking system as for recreational golf.
Remember that members and visitors are allowed to play on the course even if they are not taking part in the competition.
But competition entrants have priority.
If you are having problems finding someone to play with as a marker, please contact a committee member and we will try to help.
